He was predeceased by: his parents, Janet Atherton Hegele and Julian Merlin Hexum; and also Beverly Hexum. He is survived by: his wife Mardi Hexum (Middleton); his sons, Derek Hexum (Caldwell) and Clinton Hexum; his daughter-in-law Tammie; his granddaughter Cailey; his daughter Amy Lohr (Caldwell); his grandsons, Isaiah Lohr and Isaac Lohr; his great grandchild Noa; his granddaughter Jade Royce; his stepson Jonathan Ems; his stepgrandchildren, Carson and Paige Ems; and his siblings, Howard Hexum, Shirley (Tom) Rist (Mountain Home) and Janis (John). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
