He was predeceased by: his parents, James Fredrickson and Alvina Fredrickson; his stepmother Bertha Fredrickson; his son-in-law Chad "Hoss" Grigg; and his grandson Troy Thomas.

He is survived by: his wife MaryEtta Fredrickson; his daughters, Mary Kay (Dean), Tina (Eric), Becky and Khaseta; his grandchildren, Latonia, Robert Jr., Brandee, Jeffrey, Kersten, Danny Jr., Aureona, Tori, Colton, Tawni, Alli and Christian; his great grandchildren, Colmin, Marcus, Sophia, Kyler, Tyler, Dawson, Decimus, Alton, Oakleigh, Daximus, Maximus, Evalynn, Alayah, Karsyn, Callahan and Emersyn; and his siblings, Joni Kuntz, Linda Phillips, Jeff Phillips and Margaret McNally.
