It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Glen Jay Waltman of Middleton, Idaho, born in Nampa, Idaho, who passed away on February 24, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jay R. Waltman and Arvella Squires Waltman; his siblings, Gerald and Carolyn Dodge; and his granddaughter Mariah Waltman.

He is survived by: his former wife Joan Wood; his wife Carol; his children, Brent Waltman (Jody) of Garden Valley, ID, Darren Waltman (Melanie) of Okarche, OK, Todd Waltman (Kristie) of Simpsonville, KY and Julie Tanner (Mike); his siblings, Lance Waltman (Becky) of Buhl, ID, Shari Kirk (Elliot) of Rexburg, ID, Carolee Drake (Gus) of Rigby, ID, Tiffany Dunn (Daniel) of Warsaw, VA, Jared Waltman (Lisa) of Middleton, ID., Vaughn Waltman of Middleton, ID., Brandon Waltman (Natalie) of Middleton, ID. and Valerie Waite (Bryce) of Middleton, ID.; and his siblings-in-law, Claudia Beal, Lucy Christensen and Lovalyn Parry. He is also survived by 71 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.

“I am The Oldest Daughter of Glen's first Cousin "Lois Joy" Waltman-Erickson. Mom passed in 1978 in an MVA, and Family get togethers slowed then halted all together. I admired Glen So Much after his Return from LDS Mission. He was Absolutely Amazing. Tall, Blonde and that Fabulous Smile. I was so Heartbroken at the passing of his first wife, so confused about Death how, why and can we ever NOT hurt??? Iwas Equally Pleased when he found his current Wife... Happy for his return to Gospel Centered”
