He was predeceased by: his parent Jewel Barton; and his son Craig Barton. He is survived by: his wife Anna Faye; his daughter LaQuinta Bates (Michael); and his grandchildren, Miste Karlfeldt (Michael), Phil Bates (Chelsi), Conner Bates (Kylie), Jason Barton (Shantel) and Jerod Barton (Nichole). He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.
