He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Kemper and Helen Kemper; and his siblings, Ray, Tommy, Billy, Irene and Lorriane.

He is survived by: his wife Peggy; his daughter Madonna Rudder (Scott) of Pasco; his grandchildren, Nate Rudder, Jake Hayes (Hillary), Hayley Hayes, Zoe and Fiona Kemper; and his great grandchild Makaya Rudder.
