He was predeceased by: his parents, Irving and Pearl; and his granddaughter Ashleigh Cox. He is survived by: his wife Gayle Marlene Leavitt; his children, Jamie Cox (Dennis), Jim Gardner (Michelle), Jalene Phillips (Mark) and Jeralyn Lott (Phil); and his siblings, Sherril Harker (Theo), Karen Christensen, Myrna Lamb (Doyle), Dennis Gardner (Janet), Jewel Seward (Tim), Kevin Gardner (Sherry), Del Ray Gardner (Angela) and Amber Starling (James). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren.
He especially loved serving in the Columbia River, Boise and Meridian Temples for the 16 years prior to Covid.
