He was predeceased by: his parents, Carroll Nichols and Pearl Nichols; and his sister Edith. He is survived by: his wife Dorine; his children, Gail (Larry Astley), Carla (Andy Ward), Jan Powell, Bob Nichols (Jean Hilton), Lydia (Shane Dixon), Robert and JoAnn Nichols (IN); and his brother Chuck Nichols. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren plus spouses, 32 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
