With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Floyd Gilgen Bailey (Meridian, Idaho), born in Salt Lake City, Utah, who passed away on December 3, 2022 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Roderick and Blanche Gilgen Bailey; his sisters, LaDeane Jonsson, Shirley Richards and Marsha Bawden; and his foster daughter Verla Lasiloo-Jim.

He is survived by: his sons, David (Carl), Mark, Scott (Tara), Kent (Sara) and Jared (Kirsten); his siblings, Conley Bailey, Daryle Warby, Gloria Richards, Gerald Bailey, Kenneth Bailey, Gordon Bailey and Shauna Nikolaus; and his close friend Sharyn. He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and an array of cousins, nieces, and nephews.
