She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Masahide Furuya and Minoru Furuya; her daughter Mary; her son-in-law Rob Sparks; her grandchildren, Tommy Sparks (Jen) and Whitney (Jared Joffer); her great grandchildren, Remilynn, Bennett Joffer and Charlie Sparks; her brother Fred; her sister-in-law Keiko Furuya; and her sister Marjorie Furuya of California.
