He was predeceased by: his father Ernest Weatherspoon; and his former wife Arlyce E. Penner. He is survived by: his wife Beverly; and his stepsons, Steve, Scott and Doug. He is also survived by eight step-grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and Tennessee cousins.
