It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edgar Allen Benson of Meridian, Idaho, who passed away on March 24, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Axel Benson and Sara Benson; his wife Shirley; his daughter Susan; and his former wife Clara McClelland.

He is survived by: his son Jeff Benson (Rhonda); his brother John (Nancy); and his granddaughters, Deanna, Danielle, Katrina, Jerica, Samara, Shantele, Mandy and Ronie. He is also survived by 22 great grandchildren, and 11 great great grandchildren.
