He was predeceased by: his wife Irene N. Jedlick; his parents, Myrtle Jedlick and John J. Jedlick; his parents-in-law, Carl Reed and Lillian Renaldi; his sister Dorothy Jedlick Broyles; his sisters-in-law, Grace Clampitt and Virginia Rose; and his nephews, Neil Broyles, Jr. and Lane Broyles.

He is survived by: his children, John Joseph Jedlick II (Annie) and Debra A. Jedlick Alvord (Chet); his grandchildren, John Jedlick III, Jeffrey Jedlick (Susan), Alyssa Fravel, Brent S. Alvord (Karla), Amy A. Alvord Shaw (Robert) and Emily A. Alvord Nutting (Jason); and his sister-in-law Lillian Goehring (Mel). He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be directed to a charity of your own choice or to the St. Luke's Children's Hospital.
