We are sad to announce that on November 21, 2022, at the age of 84, Cheryl Clayton (Meridian, Idaho) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Burtenshaw Jr. and Eva Burtenshaw; her husband Dick Clayton; and her siblings, Mardee Burtenshaw, Shirley Fortner, Don Burtenshaw and Larry Burtenshaw.
She is survived by: her close friend Ron Hon; her children, Natalie Black (Barry) of Idaho Falls and Joseph Benjamin (Stephanie) of Boise; her grandchildren, Alexandra Paulick (Nathan) of Denver, CO., Zachary Black of Spokane, WA. and Rhiannon Benjamin of Boise, ID; her great grandchildren, Mason and Savannah; and her siblings, Leta Carlson of Idaho Falls, William Burtenshaw (Bill) of St. George, Marva Blatter of Rexburg, Janis Butikofer of Idaho Falls and Nelda Hammer of Ashton.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Snake River Animal Shelter in Idaho Falls or The Idaho Humane Society in Boise.
