It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Barbara Ann Hofeldt of Meridian, Idaho, who passed away on November 27, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Mollie Hofeldt (Mixan) and Paul "Mick" Carl Hofeldt. She is survived by: her children, Paul and Mary; and her brother Douglas Wayne Hofeldt (Christine). She is also survived by her three nephews, many beloved cousins and wonderful friends.
Immediately following the problems caused by Covid in 2020 Barbie decided to retire full time to focus more on her own health and wellbeing and started to pursue her passion for writing which she had indulged in on and off for most of her adult life.
It is asked that in lieu of flowers a donation be made in Barbara's name to any charity for the care of animals or to the Idaho Botanical Garden. ".
