He was predeceased by: his parents, Elva Jackson Ball and Leland W. Ball; and his brothers, L. Wade Ball, David J. Ball and Stephen L. Ball.
He is survived by: his wife Myrna Olaveson; his children, R. Duane Ball (Becky) of Grant, Idaho, JoAnn Mathews (Christopher) of Wiesbaden, Germany, Jaron L. Ball (Kimberly) of Harrisville, Utah, Russell Ball of Menan, Idaho and Marie Purser (D. Brett) of Rigby, Idaho; and his sister Barbara Ann Raymond (Dee) of Lewisville. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, and 17 great grandchildren.
