He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolph A. Butikofer and Lucile Butikofer; his wife Helen Hammond Butikofer; his siblings, Gladys Treffry (Darren), Maurice, Merrill (Donna), Preston (Thelma), Eldred (Florine), Howard (Gayle), Alan (Lorna) and John; and his great grandchild Hazel Lear.
He is survived by: his sister Maureen May of Beaverton, Oregon; his sister-in-law Phyllis Butikofer of Coltman, ID.; his children, Sharyl St (Henry), Tamara Kiehn (Ronald), Brett Butikofer (Suzanne), Mitchel Butikofer (Leslie) and Todd Butikofer (Sarah); his grandchildren, Jessica Breen (Anna), Rachel Christensen (Joseph), Cortney Lear (Bill), Alex Kiehn (Sarah), Shad Butikofer (Nicole), Ciara Simons (Seth), Erin Nelson (Jordan), Abby Lehnig (Bryan), Jamie Butikofer, Sadie Good, Austin Good, Kennedy Larsen (Benjamin), Hadley Good and Griffin Good; and his great grandchildren, Wynn, Jade, Brooke Lear, Lila, Reed Kiehn, Natalie, Garrett, Everett Butikofer, Mayzee, Kinzlee and Joel Simons.
