With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen I Watson of Menan, Idaho, born in Rigby, Idaho, who passed away on June 1, 2021 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Nord and Berneice Scott Nord; her husband Robert Watson; her siblings, Darwin Nord and Lois Poole; her children-in-law, Marie Watson (Rick) and Don LaRue (Deena); and her grandson Shawn Morgan.
She is survived by: her children, Deena LaRue of Ankeny, IA, Laura Watson of Boise, ID, Rhett Watson (Diana) of Menan, ID, Rand Watson (Caroline) of Menan, ID and Rick Watson of Menan, ID; and her brother Reed Nord (Gaylia) of Ririe, ID. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
She served in several community positions including Registrar for the Menan Precinct, American Cancer Society, Idaho League of Post Masters Vice President, and as Mayor of Menan for 2 terms.
