It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jay Dean Brown of Melba, Idaho, who passed away on February 13, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Omera Leavitt Brown; his grandsons, Derrick and Justin; his parents, Pearl Brown and Alexander "Sandy" Brown; and his siblings, Elden Brown, Mervin Brown, Wayne Brown, Thelma Manus Hill, Beth Stokes Vrooman and Lois Brown.
He is survived by: his children, Kerry (Barbara), Darwin (Diane), Jimmy (Cindy), Chad (Chih Mei) and Jolene (Tom); and his sister Sandra Dike Wilson. He is also survived by 19 Grandchildren; 28 Great Grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Melba LDS Church (112 Randolph Dr, Melba, ID 83641). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
