She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Charles Helfrich; her great grandchild Mia; her brother Gary Barnes; her sons, Charles Helfrich (Debra), Richard Helfrich and Christopher Helfrich (Melody); and her parent Richard Barnes. She was also cherished by 6 granddaughters, 1 great-granddaughter and some good friends.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations can be made to Wounded Warriors or a diabetic charity of their choice.
