“Sad to hear of Gary's passing, and sad to have missed the opportunity to visit Gary at his home in Idaho. He was a great pal, good athlete and student and a very good friend; just a wonderful all-around guy. We were especially close in grammar school in Marina, CA and in high school in Monterey, CA. We shared many times together riding our bikes, chasing girls, and playing basketball and baseball. Fun to be with, a sincere person, a nice person. I am honored to have had his friendship.”
