She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernice Watson and Elmer Owen Zollinger; her stepfather Orvan Wennergren; and her husband Walter. She is survived by: her children, David (Becky), Lisa (Frank), Eric (Tammy), Jared (Shannalee) and Jessie Covey Edwards Robertson. She is also survived by her 21 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren.

Elma died peacefully after becoming ill with COVID and having several strokes.
