He was predeceased by: his parents, Leland Walker Ball and Elva Pearl Jackson Ball; his brothers, David and Stephen; his daughter Suzanne Ball Christen; his son-in-law Jim Hansen; his grandsons, Jake Hansen and Joshua Christen; and his great grandchild Houston Hansen.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Ann Hill; his children, Kevin Ball (Dionne) of Syracuse, Utah, LeAnn Hansen (Jim) of Idaho Falls, Idaho, Brad Ball (Suzanne) of Saratoga Springs, Utah and Ryan Ball (Michelle) of Rigby, Idaho; and his siblings, Richard Ball (Myrna) of Menan, ID and Barbara Raymond (Dee) of Lewisville, ID. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
