She was predeceased by: her sons, Bill Krause and Jeffrey Mertsching. She is survived by: her parents, William Heimgartner and Lona Heimgartner; her husband Donald Johnson; her children, Jerald Mertsching (Anita) of Vancouver and Galen Mertsching (Collette); her sisters, James Mertsching of Clarkston and Tess Williams (Teresa); and her stepchildren, Carey Stephens (Dennis) of Lake Oswego, Lauri Bilte (Greg) of Danville and Linda Williams of Kirkland.
