He was predeceased by: his parents, William H. Sr. Smith and Marian Smith (Hender); and his brothers, Benny and Bobby. He is survived by: his wife Sheryl Smith; his son Benjamin Smith (Emily); his grandchildren, Justin and Kenzie Smith; his siblings, Darlene Skelton, Margaret Booth (Gordon) and Barney Smith (Patti); and his aunt Lois Robison. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
