It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary E. Amundsen in Lewiston, Idaho, who passed away on December 29, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mark Ralph and Violet Cecelia Cunningham Bender of Kinsey. She is survived by: her children, Steven James and Janette Marie Friend (Riddell); her husband Ernest Amundsen; her son Scott Friend; her stepchildren, Marilla Brooke (Richard) and Eric Amundsen (late Jacquie); her grandchildren, Brandon Brooke (Melissa), Nathan Hitz, Hailey Johnson (Jonathon) and Logan Brooke; her great grandchild Nori Brooke; and her siblings, Helen Cashner, Jim Bender (Barbara) and Bruce Bender (Mari). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
