He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Winborg Ames and Annetta Thompson Ames; and his brother Carlton Thompson Ames. He is survived by: his significant other Dianna Erickson; his significant other's daughters, Nicole Skinner (Alden) and Anna LeBlanc (Don); his grandchildren, Colby, Landon, Preston, Gracie and Cohen; his siblings, Jim Ames (Holli), Leisa Ames, Dan Ames (Denise) and Tareisa Ashford (Anthony); his nieces and nephews, Jaxon, Taylor, McKelle, Jordan, Jacie, Kamrie, Torie, Brenton, Avery and Rudy of Tessa, AJ; and his pet Diesel.
