He was predeceased by: his parents, Merwin A. Diffin (Dorothy) and Carmen E. Corona (Andrew V.); his siblings, Carmen Diaz and Duane M. Diffin; his son Dean C. Diffin; and his close friend Jackie Dyke (Martha).
He is survived by: his wife Darlene Coleman; his daughter Leslie Ann Diffin; his former wife Darlene Zimmerman; his daughter Dawn Michelle Melton (Wade); his daughter-in-law Leslie M. Diffin; his grandchildren, John Bernard (Beverly), Sean Diffin (Ashlee), Joshua Bernard (Rhonda), Darrick Gates, Kaysha Gates, Sanya Summers (Travis), Jarett Goslin, Seth Melton (Madison), Stephanie Melton, Sophia Diffin, Grace Diffin and Margaret Diffin; his siblings, Nora Lincoln (Claude), Olivia Corona, Lucy Corona, Jimmy and Andy Corona; and his friend Sasquatch. He is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren; countless nieces, nephews and cousins.
