He was predeceased by: his parents, James 'Jim Roy Stroud and Ruth Winifred Dalby; his son Bruce; his wife LaVinna Joan Clark; his brothers, Everett Edward 'Muggs' and Cledell Roy 'Tuff Stroud; his friend Fred Blom; and his stepgrandson Cody Hill.
He is survived by: his son Brett; and his grandchildren, Scott Madsen, Travis Stroud (Jamie), Brandon Stroud (Ashley), Brittany Stroud, Bedford Bruce Stroud and Rachel David (Dillon). He is also survived by 17 great grandchildren.
