She was predeceased by: her parents, Herb S. Curtis and Alice Louise Kearsley; and her husband John Howell. She is survived by: her former husband Ray Torneten; her sons, Alan Eugene (Deon) and Bradley Curtis (Aubrey); her cousins, Bob and Norma Carlson; and her children, Paula Peterson (Gerald) and John Howell (Gailyn). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
