He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver Owens and Leona Owens; his great grandchild Raina Owens; and his significant other Shirley Tucker. He is survived by: his children, Ira Owens (Susan), Shane Owens (Emilie) and Mikaela Thompson (Garett); and his brothers, Steve Owens of Sealy Lake and Stoney Owens of Lincoln. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
