He was predeceased by: his parents, George Martin Smith and Ruth Adair Smith. He is survived by: his son George Michael "Mike" Jr. (Lara); his wife Marie Madeline Engledow; his siblings, Chris, Karen, Sara and Ellen; his brother-in-law Clint (Linda) of Kamiah; his granddaughters, Martha, Luella, Ruth and Madeline; his son Marty; and his grandson Max. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
