He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Meligan and Burnice Meligan (Jones); and his siblings, Wayne, Millie, Geri, Loran, Lora, Vern and Eugene.
He is survived by: his spouses, Zelda Hollingsworth and Zelda Meligan; his children, Kathy (Mark Sauer), Roger (LaVaun Meligan), Nina (Tom Sauer) and LaVena Towles (Hugh Towles) of Oldtown; and his sister Lois Price of Corvallis, Oregon. He is also survived by nine grandchildren nine great-grandchildren.
