It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald Duane Hakola of Kingston, Idaho, born in Spokane, Washington, who passed away on December 5, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his siblings, Edward, Donald, Dennis and Maryann. He is survived by: his wife Helen MaRee Hakola of Kingston, ID; his daughters, Joann Hakola of Tacoma, WA, Julianne Hakola of Tacoma, WA and Tammie Hakola of Tacoma, WA; and his stepchildren, Shane Howard (Carrie) of Kingston, ID, Chris Vlastelic (Harry) of Kingston, ID, Deonne Moyers (Art) of Spangle, WA and Denise Ellingson (Jerry) of Coeur. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
