Merle Gene touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Lierman and Dorthy Lierman. He is survived by: his wife Bette Lee Sharp of Filer, ID; and his children, Shane (Jeannie), Travis (Geri), Regina "Gina" (Trevor) and Corey (Tyanna). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren.

Viewing will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Rosenau Funeral Home & Crematory (2826 Addison Ave E, Twin Falls, ID 83301). A memorial service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Clover Trinity Lutheran Church (3552 1825 E, Buhl, ID 83316). A burial will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Clover Trinity Lutheran Cemetery (3552 1825 E, Buhl, ID 83316).
