It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of David Pakonen (Ketchum, Idaho), born in White Pine, Michigan, who passed away on March 21, 2020, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Pakonen and Rose Pakonen (Domencich); his nephew Ryan Sobolik; and his brother Gerald "Jerry" Pakonen. He is survived by: his siblings, Thomas (Julie) of Ironwood, MI and Jane Labby (Brian) of Midland, MI; and his sister-in-law Christina Pakonen of Anchorage, AK. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
