She was predeceased by: her grandmother Phylis Wagner. She is survived by: her husband David M. Gilbert; her children, Hunter, Casey, Jason and McKenna; her parent Darline Lettenmaier; her grandparents, Fred and Betty Lettenmaier; her siblings, Slade, Justis Nelson and Andreya Nelson; her nephew Ryland; her aunt Jeanette Henegen (Dave); her cousin Steven Willoughby; her parents-in-law, Steven Gilbert (Kathy) and Debbie Gilbert; and her brother-in-law Daniel Gilbert (Gilly).

In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation account has been set up by a friend of the family at Latah Credit Union under Darline Lettenmaier to help pay for memorial and Nicole's children.
