She was predeceased by: her parents, William Reynolds and Mildred Reynolds (Stomaugh); her husband George Ben Sheppard; and her son Steven. She is survived by: her sons, Ben Sheppard (Monica), Dennis "Rusty" Sheppard and Patrick Sheppard (Shannon); her niece Nita Buhl (Steve); and her nephew Merl Buhl (Laura). She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
