It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leon Phillip Quaring (Kellogg, Idaho), who passed away on December 15, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Leon Phillip may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Julius Quaring and Bessie Quaring (Daily); his adoptive parents, Marion DesChamps (Edna DesChamps) and Edna DesChamps; and his son Richard Quaring.
He is survived by: his wife Betsy Ann Quaring (Marks); and his brother Roger Quaring. He is also survived by several children and step-children.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Shoshone Funeral Services (106 S Main St, Kellogg, ID 83837). A burial will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Hunt Cemetery.
