He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie Hammond and Louvain Hammond (Casey); and his siblings, Dana Hammond, Deloris Brown, Lois Bower and Leslie Hammond Jr..
He is survived by: his former wife Bonnie Johnson; his children, Ray Hammond and Beverly Timme (Travis); his grandchildren, Jeslyian Johnson and Jensen Timme; and his brother Duane Hammond (Carolyn). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
