She was predeceased by: her father Wendell Earl West; her daughter Jessica Messersmith; her brother Randy West; and her stepfather Ed Northrop. She is survived by: her parent Lu Chapman Northrop; her husband Jack Messersmith; her daughter Jackie Hoyer (Brandon); her grandchildren, Dustin and Lacie; her siblings, LeRoy, Rhonda, Ralph and Lori; and also Lu Northrop.
