We bid farewell to Josephine Fernandez (Jerome, Idaho), born in Taos, New Mexico, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 4, 2024 at the age of 85. Josephine touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband Joe Fernandez; her son Tom; her parents, Mary Craton (Tom) and Maximo Branchal; her in-laws, Nat and Margarita Fernandez; her brother Domingo; her granddaughter Melissa; and her great grandchildren, Isabella, Josie and Naason.
She is survived by: her children, Ron (Jill), Maggie (Michael), Joe (Ardee), Tim (Kathy), Michael (Misti) and Paul (Melody); and her sisters, Angela (Francis) and Ramona. She is also survived by 24 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren, and many, many nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Jerome Catholic Church (216 2nd Ave E, Jerome, ID 83338). A Mass was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
