He was predeceased by: his son John Michael Martin; and his sisters, Mary Katherine Comstock (Rock) and Margaret Chonko. He is survived by: his parents, Charles Benson Martin and Elizabeth Martin (Littlejohn); his wife Ruth; his daughter Pamela M. Heiman; his grandson John R. Heiman (Gloria) of Jerome, Idaho; his great grandchildren, John Anthony and Ronald Heiman; and his brother-in-law Michael Chonko of Cumberland Maryland.
