He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert Barnes and Ruth Regal Barnes; his wife Connie Barnes; and his children, Tracy Barnes (Kara), Craig Barnes (Alonia), Gerald Barnes, Jr. and Jerri Ruth Barnes (David Fox). He was also cherished by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
