He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Jefferson Richey and Frances Miriam Richey of Trail Prospect, Oregon.; his siblings, Tommy Richey and Aileen Block; his brother-in-law Frank Block; and his son Thomas Richey.
He is survived by: his son David Jay Richey (Karen); his grandchildren, Chris Richey, Candy Richey, Bobby Richey (Makaylla), Shawna Fultz (James Gergens) and Meloney Straub; and his stepgrandchildren, Trucker Clark (Mandy), Thai Clark (Heather) and Hawker Newton (Katrina). He is also survived by 20 great grandchildren; and 4 great great grandchildren.
The military honors will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Eagle Point National Cemetery (2763 Riley Rd, Eagle Point, OR 97524).
