Larry Welker Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Welker of Iona, Idaho, born in Rexburg, Idaho, who passed away on August 18, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Ellen (Thornock) and Edward Dale Welker; his sister Brenda Ellis (Dennis); his brother-in-law David McComas; and his close friends, Herb Utter, Don Mendel, Barry Cazier, Gordy and Annie.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Lee Grubb (Grubb); his grandson Ben Coles; his friend Bob Hudson; his children, Tracy Coles (Blake), Leslie Stockham (Ivan), Lonny Welker (Lara), Melanie Gurgiolo (Mike), Sheri Loveland (Saul Resendez) and Tammy Handly (Steve); and his siblings, Karen McComas, Shiela Judkins (late Alfred), Paul Welker (Nancy) and Lisa Sutton (Mike). He is also survived by 30 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donating to a gofundme account for the Idaho Falls Trail Machine Association.
