He was predeceased by: his parents, Delbert Stephen Covert and Alice Theresa Samargis Covert; his wife Sandra Lucille Covert; his siblings, Naydean Chamber, Kevin Covert and Faral Covert; his daughter Corinna Welker; and his grandsons, Kevin Clark and Travis Fullmer Jr..
He is survived by: his children, Scott Covert of Idaho Falls, ID and Elise Meyer (Alan) of Idaho Falls, ID; and his brothers, Gary Covert (Elnora) of Shelley, ID and Mike Covert (Twila) of California. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great grandchildren.
