He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Oliver Sorenson and Fannie Hope Sorenson; his wife Betty Sorenson; his sons, Michael J. Sorenson and Leanord Ford Sorenson; his granddaughter Sheri; and his great grandchildren, Jacob Ford Hansen and Kaitlin Manzanares.
He is survived by: his former wife Verla Willmore; and his children, JoAnn Hansen (Jerry) of Iona, ID, Delbert "Deb" Sorenson (Kathy) of Iona, ID, Marvin Sorenson of Idaho Falls and Jeanie Muir (Randy) of Idaho Falls. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 48 great grandchildren, and 21 great-great grandchildren.
