She was predeceased by: her parents, John Alfred Lindstrom and Eleanor Haroldsen; her husband Melvin Jared Anderson; her daughters, Bonita Leigh and Kolay Cecilia; and her grandson Blake Clifford Kent.

She is survived by: her siblings, Morgan John, Alice Matilda, Inga Cecilia, Evelyn Anna and Virgil; and her children, Val Jared, Melanie Fay, Leisha Eleanor, Annalee and Terro Kay.
