He was predeceased by: his parents, Gail Ray and Norma Ray; his sister Jerri Ray Johnson; and his close friend Peaches. He is survived by: his wife Debra R. Ray; and his children, Dereck Doyle Ray (Kathy), Melissa Ray Barham, Janice Ray Dillon (Shannon) and Camille Ray Buchmiller (Josh). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren.
