He was predeceased by: his son Jerry Craig Paulsen; his daughter-in-law Catherine Paulsen; his siblings, Lavere Paulsen, Glen Paulsen, Ray Paulsen, Arlene Wadsworth, Bernice Paulsen and Jewell Wadsworth; his grandson Wayne Paulsen; and his great grandchildren, Taylor Simpson and Samantha Udy.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Paulsen of Idaho Falls, ID; his children, Ferrel Kay Paulsen (Kaylene) of Idaho Falls, ID, Jeanine Hepworth (Lyman) of Storm Lake, IA, Dennis Wynn Paulsen of Idaho Falls, ID, Marie Hansen (Brian) of Caldwell, ID and Robert Dale Paulsen of Idaho Falls, ID; his daughter-in-law Betty Paulsen of Idaho Falls, ID; and his brother Rex Paulsen (Geraldine) of Sequim, WA. He is also survived by 35 grandchildren and 70+ great grandchildren.
